ICC Cricket world cup 2015 Match schedule

The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup will be the 11th ICC Cricket World Cup which is scheduled to be held from 14 February to 29 March 2015 and it will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand . Total of 49 matches will be played in 14 venues with Australia host 26 matches at grounds in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, & Melbourne while New Zealand hosts 23 games in seven cities, including Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Napier, Nelson and Wellington. The final match of the tournament will be palyed at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. It will be one of the world's largest international sports tournaments, with 14 competing teams and more than 400 accredited players and officials taking part in it.


This year ICC will distribute 20 percent more prize monety than 2011 world cup. The International Cricket Council has declared a total prize money pool of $10 million for the tournament. The prize money will be distributed according to the performance of the team as follows:





A total of 42 matches will be played throughout the group stage of tournament. The top four teams from each pool will qualify for the quarter-finals
